What's next?
Political tours
During the official politischer Rundgang (political tour) at gamescom 2026, political delegations walked through our Indies United "Castle" in Hall 10.2. Having decision-makers stop by our booths gave our collective of small studios a direct chance to share our work and push for simpler, predictable game funding.
Streamer presence
Along with the political visit, creator presence added another huge boost to our booth. Media crews like Rocket Beans TV featured the indie halls across their "Beanscom" coverage, bringing creators and streamers directly through the Indie Castle floor to test-play demos, chat with us, and highlight local games on stream.
National television
Major TV networks like RTL and WDR brought camera crews right through our setup, interviewing developers and filming play sessions.
Attendance
Thousands of attendees visited our setup throughout the week, driving hands-on play sessions, massive wishlist increases, and direct player feedback across all our featured games.
Competition
We hosted a competition across several categories to crown our developer Castle Kings and Queens, handing them prizes from sponsors like Razer.
